Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, the Carmel Vally Trail & Saddle Club hosts the Central Coast Ranch Horse Classic at their facilities in Carmel Valley. For more information, call 831-624-1518.
The first (of two) clinics on May 19-20 will cover skill s that a cowhorse needs in order to work a cow effectively. This is a Santa Cruz Horsemen’s Association sponsored event, and will be held at the Graham Hill Showgrounds. The Clinic starts at 9am sharp each day. There is a maximum of 10 Riders per clinic. The May 2012 Fox ‘n Horn Horse Show is May 19 at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. Call 831-277-0531 or visit the Fox’n Horn website at www.foxnhorn.com. There will be classes for everyone from Walk-only through 3′ jumps. This will be a great show with series prizes.
